In the not so distant past, Victorian gemologists would “pellet” rubies to create the tiny jewels that were used for timekeeping in clocks and watches.
This piece was created to celebrate Dicken’s villages 40th anniversary with the traditional gift of 40 years – rubies.
Coordinates with Too Pretty To Pellet figurine.
